Job summary

Checkout.com in Singapore is seeking an experienced technical specialist to support merchants during integration of payment processing technology.

You will handle configuration questions, debugging, go-live support, and incident management while collaborating with internal teams.

The role requires 5+ years in tech, API/REST, and bilingual English/Chinese; we offer a hybrid workplace with three days in the office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of development or tech support in Tech/FinTech.
• Payments experience is advantageous.
• Strong API/REST/webhooks/logs understanding.
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Go or C#.
• Node.js/React experience is a plus.
• iOS/Android knowledge is a bonus.
• Excellent communication; customer-focused; bilingual English/Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to merchants during their integration of Checkout.com payment processing technology.
• Answer integration queries including configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live, and post-live support.
• Manage integration incidents from investigation to resolution and reporting.
• Collaborate with Merchant Configuration, Sales, Account Managers, and Merchant Care to resolve issues during trials or post-implementation.
• Interact with Product teams to identify improvement ideas.
• Advise on issues affecting customer satisfaction and propose actions.
• Multitask across multiple projects and integrations.
• Maintain/update libraries/plugins used in integrations.
