Job summary

Checkout.com, a leading fintech platform, seeks a skilled technical support professional to assist merchants during their integration of our payments processing technology. You will handle configuration, debugging, and live support, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth experiences for merchants and end users.

The role requires 2+ years in Tech/FinTech support, knowledge of API/REST/webhooks, and strong coding ability in one language.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of development or technical support in a Tech/FinTech company.
• Payments experience would be advantageous.
• Understanding of API, REST, webhooks and logs is required.
• Strong coding skills in at least one language: Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Go, or C#.
• Experience with Node.js, React is a plus.
• Knowledge in iOS/Android is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
• Ability to work in a customer-focused and target-driven environment.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to merchants during their implementation of Checkout.com payment processing technology.
• Answer all merchants' integration-related questions including configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live and post-live support.
• Manage incidents related to the integration (investigation, troubleshooting, escalation, resolution, reporting, time tracking).
• Collaborate with internal teams (Merchant Configuration, Sales, Account Managers, Merchant Care) to resolve issues during trials or post-implementation support.
• Interact with Product teams to identify improvement ideas.
• Advise on issues impacting customer satisfaction and propose actions.
• Multitask across multiple projects and customer integrations.
• Maintain and update existing libraries/plugins used in integrations.
