Job summary

Apple Inc. in Singapore seeks a highly motivated Apple Pay eCommerce Merchant Specialist to drive merchant adoption and deliver best-in-class integrations for digital channels (Web and App). You will collaborate with internal teams and external merchants to accelerate adoption and optimize the merchant journey.

The role requires a proven sales or business development background, Japanese fluency with strong English, and a keen understanding of retail/e-commerce payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 3-5 years of sales or business development experience.
• Japanese language fluency (reading, writing and speaking) with high English proficiency.
• Experience in retail/e-commerce or payments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source new merchant opportunities via emails, calls, or inbound leads.
• Support merchants through the full Apple Pay enablement cycle from discovery to launch.
• Identify key players and manage end-to-end enablement with merchants and payment partners.
• Assist post-launch growth through UX audits and conversion optimization.
• Establish and maintain positive business relationships with merchants.
• Onboard merchants with Apple Pay integration in partnership with Technical Specialists.
• Deliver communications to evangelize Apple Pay via one-to-one or webinars.
• Provide updates on account progression and KPIs to leadership.
• Maintain merchant contacts and update pipeline in CRM.
