Job summary

Silicon Labs is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Singapore to support NPIs and production qualifications essential to timely product launches. You will collaborate with contract manufacturers, OSATs, and internal teams to source materials, review designs, and ensure documentation and qualification progress.

The role offers exposure to Assembly/Package Engineering, Reliability Engineering, and Failure Analysis within a Manufacturing Technology context.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any related Eng field.
• At least 2 years experience working in Assembly Manufacturing or Reliability Lab environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Familiarity with Rel equipment or Bond Diagrams and assembly materials.

Responsibilities

• Support NPIs and production qualification activities for product time-to-market and business continuity.
• Collaborate with CMs and OSATs to source new materials.
• Research possible new BOM with product teams and suppliers.
• Document results and maintain records in the systems.
• Contribute to design reviews with Package Engr and other teams.
• Assist with design file acceptance and BOM approvals.
• Support Engineering builds to Qualification creation and document reports.
• Provide Reliability Lab support and QA activities.
• Coordinate chamber operations, equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Track qualification lots and support failure analysis with Device Analysis team.
