Job summary

ASM in Singapore is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead the industrialization and lifecycle support of semiconductor capital equipment. You will drive New Product Introduction, ensure manufacturing readiness, supplier alignment, and continuous improvement, while delivering scalable, cost-effective production with high quality.

The role requires strong leadership in DFM, DOE, Six Sigma, and Lean practices, plus cross-functional collaboration across business units and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in manufacturing or engineering, semiconductor capital equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of assembly, integration, and testing of complex systems.
• Experience with CVD/ALD/Epitaxy applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI activities from development to production ramp-up.
• Provide manufacturing feasibility, cost, and schedule inputs to strategy.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
