Job summary

DURKEE ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is hiring a Sales Engineer (Building Materials / Solution) in Singapore.

The role focuses on business development, project sales, and coordination across a full sales cycle, including tender submissions and client negotiations. You will build strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants and design firms, promote our materials and solutions, and coordinate with production and logistics to ensure timely project execution.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Building, Construction, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of project sales experience in building materials or construction equipment.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Familiar with Singapore construction tendering and contract processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders (developers, main contractors, consultants).
• Identify and pursue new construction projects, tender opportunities, and government projects.
• Promote building materials, equipment and technical solutions to clients.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and commercial proposals; conduct negotiations to win orders.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Logistics and Installation teams through the sales cycle.
• Regularly visit customers to nurture long-term relationships and identify new business opportunities.
