Job summary

Nebius is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to shape the power infrastructure for Nebius AI data centers in EMEA. You will design HV/MV systems, review diagrams, and ensure IEC/EN compliance across multicountry deployments.

From concept to handover, you will coordinate with mechanical, network, and civil teams, lead power-system studies, and support procurement and commissioning, enabling safe, scalable, and buildable solutions for high-density AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience in data centers or utilities.
• Experience with HV/MV distribution and protection systems.
• Experience producing construction-ready electrical design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical designs for new data center builds and upgrades across EMEA.
• Own HV and MV design inputs from utility connection through substation, transformers, switchgear and downstream distribution.
• Produce and review design criteria, single-line diagrams, load schedules and equipment specs.
• Evaluate power capacity, redundancy and distribution strategies for high-density AI environments.
• Coordinate design with mechanical, controls, network, hardware, civil and architectural teams.
• Lead power-system studies (load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, harmonic analysis).
• Ensure IEC/EN standards compliance and interconnection requirements.
• Support procurement, factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, commissioning and handover.
