Job summary

Nebius, a fast-growing AI cloud platform headquartered in Amsterdam, seeks a Field Delivery Engineer to lead on-site hardware deployment at new sites. You will coordinate rack acceptance tests through full operational readiness, ensuring servers, storage, networking, and supporting systems are installed and functioning to specifications.

You will work with GPU servers, storage, and networking components, collaborating with vendors and local teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in data center, hardware, or IT field delivery roles.
• Strong knowledge of server, storage, and network installation practices (racking, cabling, power, cooling).
• Strong hands-on experience working on datacenter floors with server hardware and Linux troubleshooting.
• Proven track record coordinating deployments across multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform deep diagnostics across hardware, firmware (BIOS/BMC), and Linux (logs, drivers, storage stack basics, performance triage).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently (sometimes at short notice).

Responsibilities

• Own the hardware deployment plan for new sites with stakeholders.
• Coordinate logistics, data center construction, and network teams.
• Verify pre-deployment racks, power, cooling, and connectivity.
• Supervise racking, cabling, and powering hardware.
• Ensure config, firmware upgrades, and integration with systems.
• Work with vendors, contractors, and staff during installation.
• Perform functional checks and acceptance tests.
• Document steps, asset data, and lessons learned.
• Maintain best practices for safe hardware deployment.
• Serve as on-site single contact for deployment updates.
• Assist transition to operations teams for steady-state.
• Provide feedback to improve hardware deployment playbooks.
