Job summary

Nebius is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to shape the mechanical infrastructure for our data centre developments. You’ll contribute through concept design, detailed design, construction and commissioning, collaborating with electrical, IT infrastructure teams and external consultants to develop scalable cooling solutions for high-density computing environments.

You’ll review designs, assess equipment specifications and ensure energy- and water-efficient solutions, helping standardise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing mechanical systems for data centres or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems and heat transfer.
• Experience preparing or reviewing engineering calculations and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with BIM tools and project interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review mechanical designs for data centres and upgrades.
• Produce cooling calculations, equipment specs and design docs.
• Evaluate chillers, pumps, heat exchangers and air-handling systems.
• Support liquid cooling interfaces with IT equipment.
• Assess capacity, redundancy and maintainability.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, and controls teams.
• Review supplier proposals and resolve technical queries.
• Support site assessments and commissioning activities.
• Identify energy and water efficiency improvements.
