Job summary

Nxera is seeking an experienced Manager of Electrical Engineering for Data Centre projects in Singapore. You will lead the M&E design team to develop electrical power systems, integrate sustainable solutions, and ensure energy efficiency across mission critical facilities.

Join a fast-growing DC operator, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and drive design excellence from concept to site installation. Requires 5+ years in DC M&E design and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of M&E design experience in Mission Critical Data Centre environment.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal, to all levels of Management.
• Experience with fast-track design/build projects and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop next generation mission critical electrical systems for data centres.
• Assist in electrical power system concepts, including EHT transformers, switch bays, and distribution layouts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, regional vendors, and manufacturers on electrical systems.
• Review RFIs, commissioning scripts, and drawings to ensure correct operation of systems.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve power efficiency, reliability and cost of ownership.
