Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Lead Marine HSE to oversee safety, compliance, and operational integrity across the fleet in Singapore. You will lead investigations, drive corrective actions, and guide Masters and vessel teams on HSE and navigational matters.

The role requires 8–10 years in fleet operations/tankers with familiarity in ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS, and related maritime regulations. An ISM/ISPS or ISO Lead Auditor certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Competency (Deck) Class 2+ recognised by MPA Singapore.
• 8–10 years of fleet operations/tankers experience.
• Familiarity with ISM, MARPOL, SOLAS and other maritime regulations.
• ISM/ISPS or ISO Lead Auditor certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead marine HSE activities, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Conduct regular vessel visits, inspections, drills, and shipboard meetings.
• Provide HSE and navigational guidance to Masters and vessel teams.
• Perform DPA responsibilities and ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, and maritime regulations.
• Coordinate SIRE, Class, and Flag State inspections and follow up on findings.
• Support vessel dry-docking, repairs, maintenance, requisitions, and consumables management.
• Identify crew training needs and monitor deck officer competency and performance.
• Support crew deployment, recruitment, performance management, and welfare administration.
• Monitor vessel condition and prepare inspection and operational reports.
• Participate in emergency response activities and other fleet management duties.
