Job description
Responsibilities
  • Help the HSE Manager with daily Marine and HSE tasks.
  • Take on the role of Purchase Executive's Backup by overseeing the Purchase function for one fleet vessel.
  • To guarantee adherence to global regulations and commercial viability, keep an eye on PSC inspections and deficiencies and communicate with pertinent parties.
  • Combine the fleet that the company manages' deficiencies in PSC, FSI, and right ships.
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of fleet vehicles and take accountability for the economical, secure, and effective functioning of the vessels
  • Help with documentation maintenance and, in certain situations, see to it that thorough files are established for upcoming records.
  • Help with, guarantee accurate accounting of all costs, and keep an eye on the HSE-related operating budget.
  • Keep track of, oversee, and guarantee that all preventive and corrective measures are taken and carried out.
  • Overall supervisor of every HSSEQ issue and concern on board.
  • Create, implement, and maintain the company's Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Assist Master/Manning agencies in providing the crew with an overview of HSSEQ policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Ensure that ships abide by laws and regulations (such as those set forth by the IMO, the Flag State, and the port state).
  • As a backup, support the Crewing Department's daily operations.
  • Help out and complete other tasks as required.
