Job summary

Baidu, Inc. in Singapore seeks an experienced HR Operations professional to manage the full employee lifecycle, payroll coordination with external vendors, and local compliance such as CPF, EP/S Pass, and statutory reporting.

You will advise on policies and employee relations while partnering with HQ HRBP for local talent initiatives. The role requires about 5 years in HR Operations/HR Generalist/HRBP, strong Mandarin and English, and a pragmatic, hands-on approach in a fast-paced tech

Qualifications

• Around 5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist or HRBP roles in Singapore.
• Solid knowledge of Employment Act, MOM requirements, CPF, payroll, work passes and statutory reporting.
• Experience managing payroll vendors, EP/S Pass processes and employee records independently.
• Strong ownership, communication and stakeholder-management skills in a fast-changing environment.
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English for collaboration with HQ and local teams.

Responsibilities

• Own core HR operations across the employee lifecycle in Singapore (onboarding, probation, transfers, contract changes, leaves and offboarding).
• Coordinate monthly payroll with external vendors, validate inputs and outputs, and resolve discrepancies on time.
• Manage CPF, IR8A/AIS, employee insurance and other local compliance matters; administer EP/S Pass processes.
• Advise employees and managers on policies, benefits, employee relations and performance matters; escalate complex cases as needed.
• Partner with HQ HRBP and Talent Acquisition to deliver performance, talent, engagement and selected recruitment initiatives locally.

Job description

• -Own core HR operations across the employee lifecycle in Singapore, from onboarding and probation to transfers, contract changes, leave administration and offboarding
• -Coordinate monthly payroll with external vendors, validate inputs and outputs, and resolve discrepancies accurately and on time
• -Manage CPF, IR8A/AIS, employee insurance, statutory documentation and other local compliance matters
• -Administer EP, S Pass and other applicable work passes, including applications, renewals, updates and cancellations, in line with MOM requirements
• -Advise local employees and managers on policies, benefits, employee relations and performance matters, escalating complex cases when needed
• -Partner with headquarters HRBP and Talent Acquisition teams to deliver performance, talent, engagement, culture and selected recruitment initiatives locally
• -Around 5 years of relevant experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist or HRBP roles, including hands‑on HR experience in Singapore
• -Sound working knowledge of the Employment Act, MOM requirements, CPF, payroll, work passes, statutory reporting and employee lifecycle administration
• -Demonstrated ability to manage payroll vendors, EP/S Pass processes and employee records independently, with accuracy, discretion and strong follow-through -Strong ownership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills in a fast‑changing environment
• -Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English: Mandarin for regular collaboration with headquarters teams, and English for local employees, vendors, government platforms and employment documents
• -Experience in internet or technology companies, HR process improvement, HRIS, people data, automation, or HRBP programmes is preferred
