Job summary

POET Technologies Inc. in Singapore is seeking a proactive HR Specialist to support end-to-end HR functions across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance.

You will maintain accurate records, manage MOM work passes, and collaborate with external vendors while ensuring local employment laws are followed. This role requires at least 2 years of HR generalist experience and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of HR generalist experience in HR operations.
• Experience in payroll processing and Singapore HR practices (CPF, tax, MOM work pass) (preferred).
• Good knowledge of local employment laws and HR practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation.
• Prepare employment documents, including contracts and letters; maintain HR records.
• Process monthly payroll accurately and timely; administer CPF and benefits.
• Manage MOM work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations; ensure compliance.
• Support HR reporting, HRIS maintenance, and vendor coordination.
