Job summary

Meranti Power Pte Ltd (MP) seeks a dedicated HR Manager on a 1-year contract to lead recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations at Jurong Island. You will oversee contracts, work passes, employee relations, and staff engagement programs while driving HR process improvements.

Ideal candidates have a solid HR background, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of Singapore employment laws. You will liaise with the Senior Principal Manager, Human Resource and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of progressive HR generalist experience, ideally at Manager level.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and MOM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviews, offers and onboarding.
• Handle employment contracts, confirmation, promotion, transfer, resignation and termination matters.
• Handle work pass applications, renewals, issuance and cancellations.
• Support employee relations, and staff engagement activities.
• Organise company events and staff engagement activities.
• Support internal communications, including announcements and employee engagement updates.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-migration audits to scrub duplicate, outdated or inconsistent records across existing HR repositories.
• Review current manual HR processes and recommend automated workflows.
• Any other adhoc HR duties as and when assigned by immediate supervisor.

Meranti Power Pte Ltd (MP), a fully owned subsidiary of the Energy Market Authority, manages and operates a new power generation station in Jurong Island. We are seeking committed individuals for the position of HR Manager (1-year contract). The scope and requirements for this position are as follows:

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and MOM requirements.
• Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Willing to work in Jurong Island.
