Job summary

Allinton Engineering & Trading Pte Ltd is seeking an HR Intern to support the HR team in recruitment, onboarding and admin tasks. You will gain hands-on experience in HR operations within a manufacturing-focused environment.

The role is ideal for students pursuing a diploma or degree in HR or Business Admin, with opportunities to participate in employee engagement initiatives and HR process improvements. Immediate start for at least 3 months.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in HR, Business Admin or related field.
• Previous HR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR documentation.
• Awareness of common HR policies and employee lifecycle stages.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment process: posting jobs, reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews.
• Help coordinate and participate in recruitment events.
• Support onboarding for new hires, preparing orientation materials and training sessions.
• Ensure new employees complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain and update employee records and databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist in HR documentation such as contracts and performance evaluations.
• Contribute to HR projects like employee engagement and diversity initiatives.
• Conduct research and provide HR best-practice recommendations.
• Assist with general administrative tasks: filing, data entry and correspondence.
• Support employee recreation activities and events, and facilities management.

Job Description

The HR intern will assist the HR team in various tasks and projects, gaining hands‑on experience in human resources operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in HR and gain practical experience in a dynamic work environment.
