Job summary

You will conduct pre-employment checks, monitor payroll support, assist with orientation, ensure compliance with local laws and Marriott policies, and contribute to positive employee relations while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: At least 1 year in HR or related role.
• Supervisory experience: None.
• License or certification: None.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support management with HR issues and maintain employee records.
• Assist employees with internal transfer requests and procedures.
• Monitor hiring processes and assist managers with recruitment issues.
• Coordinate applicant drug screens, reference checks, background checks, and SSN verification.
• Maintain applicant flow, orientation and transfer logs; ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Create and maintain new hire and personnel files in the HRIS; support orientation.
• Ensure confidentiality and prepare HR documentation; assist payroll as needed.
