Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Singapore is seeking a Director of Operations to lead Rooms, F&B, Culinary, Engineering, Security and other hotel operations, reporting to the General Manager. The role focuses on guest experience, operational excellence and strong business performance.

You will partner with the GM to drive strategy, oversee multiple departments, improve service recovery, and manage revenue and costs while developing the operational leadership team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in progressive hotel operations roles.
• Experience as Director of Operations or senior leader.
• Strong knowledge across Rooms and F&B operations.
• Experience with international hotel brands and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall hotel operation and execute the hotel's business strategy.
• Provide strategic leadership across Rooms, F&B, Culinary, Engineering, Security and other functions.
• Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence and recovery.
• Oversee Rooms and F&B performance, standards, productivity and profitability.
• Drive revenue, cost management and resource optimisation with Finance.
• Lead, coach and develop the operational leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, food safety and safety regulations.
• Lead cross-functional projects to enhance guest experience and profitability.
