Job summary

JLL in Singapore is seeking a Hospitality Assistant Manager to deliver exceptional food and beverage operations for the workplace. You will work with the Hospitality Manager to plan and execute catering events, supervise daily service and ensure high standards across kitchen and pantry areas.

You will build relationships with clients and vendors, manage inventory, run briefings, monitor leave and coverage, and report on room utilization and expenditures.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in hospitality, catering, or food and beverage management.
• Proven experience coordinating events and daily operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients and teams.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and make decisions under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
• Proficiency with PC systems and standard workplace software.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and sanitation standards in a kitchen/pantry setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Hospitality Manager in coordinating catering events from planning to cleanup.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, departments, and team members to ensure satisfaction.
• Manage equipment, stock inventory, and pantry supplies effectively.
• Coordinate with external caterers and vendors for seamless service and quality delivery.
• Enforce service standards and safety guidelines to maintain a clean, hygienic environment.
• Prepare monthly reports on room utilization and catering expenditures.
• Lead daily briefings and team meetings to improve performance.
• Coordinate leave monitoring and shift coverage to support team wellbeing.
