Job summary

You will coordinate with service staff to optimize table turnover and maintain a pleasant environment for guests throughout service. The role requires clear communication, multitasking, and a professional appearance, with experience using reservation systems such as OpenTable to handle bookings.

Qualifications

• Provide warm, friendly guest interaction and welcome.
• Communicate clearly with guests and team members to ensure smooth service.
• Manage multiple tasks and guests simultaneously during service.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen to coordinate seating and flow.
• Maintain professional appearance and composure under pressure.
• Familiarity with reservation systems (OpenTable) for bookings.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and confirm reservations to provide accurate wait times.
• Seat guests efficiently at appropriate tables to optimize table turnover.
• Manage bookings, cancellations, and inquiries via phone, online, or in-person to maintain reservation accuracy.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to manage guest flow and dining experience.
• Address guest feedback and resolve issues to ensure a pleasant dining atmosphere.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance area to enhance guest first impressions.
• Shift will be for 44+6 overtime hours weekly.
