Job summary

SsangYong Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major hospital development in Singapore.

You will provide strategic and operational leadership across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, approved programme, budget and quality standards. The role requires 15+ years in construction/project management, with extensive hospital project experience, and a strong ability to manage multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Architectural/Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of construction/project management experience.
• Extensive hospital/healthcare construction project experience.
• Proven track record leading large, complex building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, planning, contract administration, cost control, risk management.
• Experience managing major subcontractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with Singapore regulations, safety standards and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership from construction through handover for a major hospital project.
• Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and performance objectives.
• Lead project management, construction, engineering, commercial, procurement and safety teams.
• Ensure delivery in accordance with contract, programme, budget and quality standards.
• Monitor costs, cash flow, variations, claims, procurement and contractor performance.
• Maintain governance, reporting, risk management and KPI tracking.
• Coordinate with client, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Lead completion, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
