Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant architectural and construction experience.
• Experience managing large-scale building projects, preferably hospitals.
• Proven leadership and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with Singapore building regulations and quality standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all architectural works and activities for a large hospital project.
• Oversee the architectural team and provide technical and managerial direction.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders including directors, consultants and subcontractors.
• Review and coordinate drawings, shop drawings, and technical proposals.
• Ensure design information aligns with structural, M&E and services.
• Monitor progress, quality and performance of works; ensure compliance with specs.
• Lead resolution of design and site coordination issues.
• Review and approve submissions, RFIs, shop drawings, samples and mock-ups.
• Manage architectural subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Monitor work programs and milestone achievement.
• Conduct site inspections and rectify defects.
• Coordinate with authorities on submissions and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
• Attend coordination meetings; report progress, risks and issues.
• Lead interfaces with structural and M&E disciplines.
• Monitor finishing works; ensure quality and workmanship.
• Support project leadership on planning and technical matters.
• Mentor and guide architectural team members.
