Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Head of Technical Delivery in Singapore to own the technical execution, architecture validation, and delivery across large GPU compute and network deployments. You will design architectures from first principles, lead a regional engineering team, and establish high-performance operational standards for the territory.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in GPU, HPC or cloud infra engineering; 5+ years in technical leadership.
• Proven track record designing, building, operating production GPU clusters and BOMs.
• Able to explain complex trade-offs to executives; willing to relocate to Singapore with ~30% APAC travel.

Responsabilités

• Own Architecture & BOM for GPU compute, fabrics, storage, and management through design freeze.
• Evaluate customer designs against NVIDIA/OEM guidelines; flag risks and trade-offs.
• Lead Technical Procurement: qualify hardware, suppliers, and SLAs; lock in vendor support.
• Define Acceptance Standards: set regional criteria; sign-off using DCGM, NCCL, and HPL.
• Control Configuration: enforce baselines; maintain as-built docs and rollback plans.
• Direct Commissioning & Operations: run commissioning, handover, and regional support models.
• Build the Singapore team: hire and lead engineers; establish standards and runbooks.

Responsibilities:

• Own Architecture & BOM: Own cluster architecture and BOM decisions across GPU compute, fabrics, storage and management layers through to design freeze.
• Evaluate Customer Designs: Assess customer-supplied designs against NVIDIA/OEM guidelines, flagging risks and trade-offs.
• Lead Technical Procurement: Qualify hardware, suppliers and substitutions, and lock in vendor support and SLAs.
• Define Acceptance Standards: Set regional acceptance criteria and hold final sign-off, using DCGM, NCCL and HPL.
• Control Configuration & Change: Enforce firmware, driver and software baselines with traceable as-built docs and rollback plans.
• Direct Commissioning & Operations: Run commissioning and handover, and build regional support, spares and escalation models.
• Build the Singapore Team: Hire and lead engineers, create standards and runbooks, and act as the region's technical authority.

Skills/Must have:

• 12+ years in GPU, HPC or cloud infrastructure engineering, with 5+ years in technical leadership.
• Proven track record designing, building and operating production GPU clusters and BOMs.
• Deep expertise in NVIDIA GPU architectures, GPU-to-NIC topologies and InfiniBand and/or RoCE fabrics.
• Strong knowledge of the OEM/ODM, NIC/DPU, NOS, optics and storage landscape.
• Hands-on experience with formal acceptance testing and 24/7 production operations.
• Able to explain complex technical trade-offs clearly to executive stakeholders.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Singapore, with around 30% APAC travel.
• Ideally: 4,000+ GPU clusters, teams of 10+, and Business Mandarin.
