Job summary

Hamilton Barnes in Singapore invites applications for a Senior AI Solution Architect to lead the technical side of the APAC sales motion. You will design GPU cluster architectures for AI workloads and work with enterprise customers, neoclouds and hyperscalers to translate requirements into deployable designs.

The role involves around 30% travel across APAC and reporting to the Head of Sales, APAC. Based in Singapore, you will collaborate with Account Executives as the senior technical advisor

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in presales, solutions architecture or solutions engineering for GPU/HPC or data centre infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of GPU cluster design for AI training and inference, ideally including NVIDIA Reference Architecture.
• Deep networking expertise in high-performance compute fabrics (InfiniBand, RoCE/Ethernet).
• Experience assessing data centre environments and facility readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design GPU clusters for AI training, inference, HPC, VDI and data-intensive workloads.
• Validate against NVIDIA Reference Architectures and identify gaps to fix before deployment.
• Assess deployment readiness of customer environments (network, rack layout, facility).
• Partner with Sales as the lead technical advisor through the sales cycle.

Applications are open for a Senior AI Solution Architect in Singapore to lead the technical side of the APAC sales motion, reporting to the Head of Sales, APAC. The ideal candidate will work alongside Account Executives to assess, design, and validate GPU infrastructure for data centre partners, neoclouds, and hyperscalers, turning customer requirements into architectures that can be deployed and supported. The role includes around 30% regional travel, including on-site data centre visits.

Responsibilities:

• Design GPU Cluster Solutions: Architect GPU clusters for AI training, inference, HPC, VDI and data-intensive workloads, with a focus on compute fabric and networking, and with storage considered at design level.
• Validate Against NVIDIA Reference Architectures: Review customer network topologies against NVIDIA Reference Architectures, identifying gaps and recommending fixes before deployment.
• Assess Deployment Readiness: Confirm each customer environment (network, rack layout and facility) is ready to run on our platform.
• Partner with Sales: Work with Account Executives as the lead technical advisor through the sales cycle, from discovery to validated design.
• Translate Requirements into Architecture: Turn customer requirements into deployable, supportable architectures and hand off cleanly to delivery teams.

Skills/Must have:

• Senior-level experience in presales, solutions architecture or solutions engineering for GPU, HPC or data centre infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of GPU cluster design for AI training and inference, ideally including NVIDIA Reference Architecture.
• Deep networking expertise in high-performance compute fabrics (e.g. InfiniBand, RoCE/Ethernet), with working knowledge of storage architectures.
• Experience assessing data centre environments, including rack layout, power and facility readiness.
• Comfortable leading technical conversations with enterprise customers, neoclouds and hyperscalers alongside sales teams.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Singapore, and able to travel around 30% across APAC.
