Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a procurement professional to own end-to-end hardware sourcing for APAC data center deployments. You will negotiate with OEMs and major vendors, manage shortages, and coordinate with engineering, logistics and finance to keep deployments on track.

The role requires 5+ years in server/GPU procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. Based in Singapore with opportunities to influence global data center growth.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, logistics, finance and operations to align deliveries with deployment schedules.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to track procurement progress, supplier performance, risks, and deadlines.
• Support data centers with stock planning and urgent procurement to avoid disruptions.

Responsibilities:

• Own end to end procurement of servers, GPUs and supporting hardware across new data center builds and expansions in APAC
• Work directly with OEMs, ODMs and hardware vendors to negotiate pricing, lead times, availability and supply commitments
• Manage hardware shortages, supplier escalations and cost optimization across multiple projects
• Partner with engineering, logistics, finance and operations teams to keep hardware deliveries aligned with deployment schedules
• Develop dashboards and reporting to track procurement progress, supplier performance, risks and key deadlines
• Support operational data centers through stock planning and urgent hardware procurement to avoid disruption

Skills/Must Have:

• 5+ years of experience in server, GPU or data center hardware procurement
• Strong hands on experience sourcing servers and high value compute hardware, ideally including GPUs
• Direct experience working and negotiating with OEMs, ODMs and major technology vendors such as NVIDIA, AMD or Intel
• Strong commercial negotiation skills, particularly around hardware availability, pricing and supply constraints
• Comfortable working independently in a fast paced environment with a high level of responsibility and ownership
• Good understanding of technical infrastructure and experience working closely with engineering, logistics, finance and operations teams
• Based in Singapore or able to work from Singapore
