Job summary

BW Offshore Group seeks an experienced Subcontracts Leader to steer the department across FPSO construction, conversion and integration projects from early development through EPCI execution and handover to operations.

The role requires directing strategy, tendering, negotiation, and close-out for major packages including hull conversion, topsides fabrication, marine and mooring systems, and T&I. Strong leadership and global project experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in contracts, subcontracts, or commercial management within offshore oil and gas; FPSO/EPCI focus.
• Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams across large-scale capital projects (>$500M).
• Experience with standard offshore contract forms and interfacing with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the companys subcontracts department across FPSO construction, conversion, and integration projects from development through handover.
• Define and own subcontract strategy, policy framework, and procedures for all project subcontracting activities.
• Oversee the full subcontract lifecycle: prequalification, tender, evaluation, clarification, negotiation, and award.
• Ensure contract administration complies with obligations, change management, and notice requirements.
• Monitor subcontract performance against KPIs and drive corrective actions for underperformance.
• Provide oversight of Quantity Surveying team and cost management practices across projects.
• Mentor subcontracts staff and manage resource planning across the project portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with delegated authority matrices, local content requirements, and anti-bribery regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement of subcontract processes and digital tools.
• Maintain HSE performance and CARE values across subcontracting activities.
