Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank seeks a senior technology leader to steer the Trade Processing Platform Services, define shared platform capabilities, and guide AI-enabled engineering practices. You will lead architecture governance, DevOps transformation, and enterprise standards across the organization.

You will build and lead a high-performing team of platform engineers, architects, and delivery professionals, partnering with capability heads and enterprise stakeholders to align strategic priorities

Qualifications

• 8+ years of development experience with strong microservices knowledge.
• Experience leading engineering, platform or architecture teams in complex environments.
• Track record delivering enterprise-wide platform modernisation and AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy for shared platform capabilities across teams.
• Own common technology services, CI/CD pipelines, observability and tooling.
• Lead AI-enabled software engineering practices and developer productivity.
• Establish technology standards, guardrails and governance.
• Drive DevOps, SRE and platform engineering for reliability and resilience.
• Accelerate cloud adoption and automation to reduce debt and cost.
