Job summary
Standard Chartered is seeking a senior leader to head the Trade Processing Platform Services, defining strategy, architecture and roadmaps for shared engineering platforms and tooling. The role requires 8+ years in development leadership within complex financial or markets environments, with a track record of platform modernisation and cross-functional delivery.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of development leadership experience.
- Extensive leadership of engineering/platform organisations in Markets or transaction-processing environments.
- Experience delivering enterprise-wide platform modernisation and AI adoption.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategy and roadmap for shared platform capabilities.
- Own common technology services and reusable platform capabilities.
- Lead AI-enabled software engineering practices and developer productivity tooling.
- Establish technology standards, architecture guardrails and governance.
- Drive DevOps, SRE and platform reliability practices.
- Accelerate cloud adoption and platform transformation.
- Provide delivery leadership for cross-functional initiatives across multiple domains.
- Lead stakeholder alignment with capability heads and enterprise tech teams.
