Job summary

CITIBANK N.A. in Singapore seeks an Apps Support Group Manager to lead and develop a large, multi-disciplinary team responsible for delivering critical support services across Capital Markets platforms.

You will coordinate global stakeholders, drive incident and problem management, and implement processes to improve stability, capacity planning, and cost efficiency, while aligning technology delivery with business needs and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 12+ years relevant experience in supporting Capital Markets, Derivatives Settlements, Margining platforms.
• Strong leadership and experience managing global teams.
• Experience in Apps Support and people management.
• Senior stakeholder management.
• Project management delivering IT services improvements.
• Capacity planning/forecasting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; executive level.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage OTC Derivatives and MONET stakeholders globally servicing the Markets Operations business.
• Operate as the Asia lead and single point of escalations for MO and BO stakeholders in the region for Markets Operations Tech Applications during the ASIA time zone
• Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of how apps support integrates within the overall technology function to achieve objectives; requires a good understanding of the industry.
• Vendor relationship management including oversight for all offshore managed service.
• Improve the service level the team provides to our end users, including incident, problem management and knowledge sharing practices.
• Guide development teams on application stability and supportability improvements.
• Formulate and implement a framework for managing capacity, throughput and latency.
• Define and implemented application onboarding guidelines and standards.
• Coach team members to maximize potential and operate in a highly integrated environment.
• Drives continued cost reductions and efficiencies through RCA, knowledge management, performance tuning and user training.
• Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes decisions on pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions.
• Participates in business review meetings, relating technology tools strategies to business requirements.
• Ensures adherence to support processes and standards and drives best practices across the program.
• Influences and negotiates with senior leaders; may communicate with external parties.
• Manages budget, people, and planning for teams; handles performance reviews and terminations.
• Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
• Assesses risk in business decisions, upholding the firm’s reputation and compliance standards.
