GRIT is seeking a Head of Fundraising to drive international capital raising and expand institutional investor relationships from its Singapore hub.

You will own strategy-to-execution for overseas fundraising, build and manage distribution partnerships, and coordinate securities lending with global brokerages. Mandarin capability is preferred for regional outreach and investor engagement.

Qualifications

• 7years+ of overseas fundraising experience with proven capital commitments.
• Experience within quantitative funds or hedge funds is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of international bank distribution and channel development.
• Experience negotiating partnerships and growing distribution while complying with regulations.
• Proven access to institutional allocators: sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices.
• Knowledge of financial markets/regulatory practices in SG, HK and other jurisdictions.
• Mandarin preferred to liaise with regional stakeholders.

I am partnering with a leading quantitative investment firm to appoint a Head of Fundraising to drive international capital raising and expand institutional investor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of international capital raising, from strategy development to execution. Set annual fundraising and revenue objectives, targeting sizeable allocations from sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices and funds of funds.
• Expand and manage overseas distribution partnerships, particularly with international banks. Oversee partner onboarding, commercial arrangements and ongoing collaboration, ensuring regulatory requirements are met while increasing distribution scale.
• Establish and coordinate stock-borrowing arrangements with major global brokerages. Evaluate lending terms, pricing and partnership structures, and maintain reliable channels to support business requirements.
• Acquire and develop relationships with quantitative investment funds and hedge funds. Deliver tailored capital-raising solutions, maintain regular client engagement and provide ongoing post-investment support.
• Translate market developments and regulatory changes into focused international marketing plans. Lead roadshows, investor meetings and participation in industry events to communicate the firm’s investment proposition.
• Recruit and lead the Singapore team. Coordinate with investment research, operations and other internal stakeholders to strengthen fundraising processes and deliver efficient, compliant execution.

Qualifications:

• 7years+ of direct overseas fundraising experience, with demonstrable success securing substantial capital commitments. Experience within quantitative funds or hedge funds is highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of international bank distribution, supported by experience developing channels, negotiating partnerships and growing distribution volumes within applicable compliance frameworks.
• Practical experience managing securities-lending relationships with major international brokerages, including commercial terms and operational coordination. Established, long-standing brokerage connections would be an advantage.
• Proven access to institutional allocators, particularly sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and family offices, with evidence of meaningful relationship development.
• Sound knowledge of financial markets and regulatory practices in Singapore, Hong Kong and other relevant international jurisdictions.
• A record of converting investor relationships into completed fundraising transactions, combined with substantial experience executing overseas initiatives on the ground.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to liaise with the regional stakeholded.
