Job summary

Dulwich College (Singapore) is seeking a Head of Operations & Facilities to lead operational excellence across the campus. You will oversee facilities management, health and safety, major projects, and campus development, ensuring safe and efficient environments for teaching, learning and community life.

Reporting to the Director of Business Administration & Bursar, you will build strong stakeholder relationships and manage budgets, contracts and external providers to uphold the highest

Qualifications

• Experience in international school, education, healthcare, hospitality or service-driven org.
• Health & Safety, Engineering or Facilities Management certifications.
• Fire Safety Manager qualification or willingness to undertake training.
• Degree or professional qualification in FM, Property Management, Engineering, Operations or related field.
• Minimum five years' experience in facilities, estates or service-led environment.
• Experience managing large outsourced service contracts and vendor relationships.
• Strong budget management and financial planning experience.
• Demonstrated leadership of teams and high performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of health and safety management and regulatory compliance.
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational management of the College campus ensuring facilities and services are safe, efficient and fit for purpose.
• Drive service excellence through facilities management contracts including maintenance, cleaning, security, landscaping, catering and transportation.
• Manage contractor performance via KPI monitoring, contract reviews, renewals and tenders.
• Lead campus improvement projects, refurbishments and capital works programmes.
• Drive delivery of long-term campus development and master planning initiatives.
• Oversee departmental budgets, expenditure forecasting and financial performance.
• Act as Health & Safety Coordinator, leading compliance and risk management.
• Lead emergency preparedness activities including drills and safety planning.
• Support safeguarding strategy as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead for premises and campus safety.
• Lead, develop and manage a team of facilities professionals.
