Job summary

Achieve Group's client is building a next-generation AI product that helps millions of users complete everyday work through intelligent automation. The role leads application engineering across backend, mobile, and desktop platforms, and builds a high-calibre team of senior engineers.

You will define architecture for AI-powered workflows, APIs, and client apps, translate ML capabilities into production features, and drive decisions on scalability, latency, reliability, security, and cost.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading application or product engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on backend engineering background with large-scale production systems.
• Experience building and shipping AI-powered products.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems and APIs.
• Ability to make technical decisions under ambiguity.
• Comfortable working across backend, mobile, and desktop environments.

• Lead application engineering across backend, mobile, and desktop platforms.
• Build and grow a high-calibre team of senior engineers.
• Define architecture for AI-powered workflows, APIs, and client applications.
• Translate ML capabilities into reliable, production-ready product features.
• Drive technical decisions across scalability, latency, reliability, security, and cost.
• Establish clear ownership across engineering teams and maintain architectural consistency.
• Ensure production excellence through observability, monitoring, retries, fallbacks, privacy, and operational best practices.
• Balance rapid product delivery with long-term engineering quality.
