USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and deliver AI-powered workflow solutions. You will embed with business units, translate needs into use cases, and build production-grade backends and data pipelines.

The role emphasizes GenAI systems, tool-calling agents, and secure, scalable cloud deployments, with a strong focus on reliability, governance, and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience with production ownership.
• Strong Python backend and API design skills with async processing.
• Relational databases (prefer PostgreSQL) and data pipelines experience.
• Hands-on with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Cloud-native delivery experience; AWS Bedrock/OpenSearch preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to work with non-technical users.
• Comfort in ambiguous domains and balancing user value with delivery speed.

Responsibilities

• Embed with business units to identify workflows, pain points, data, and outcomes.
• Prototype rapidly, validate with users, and iterate based on evidence.
• Design and implement AI workflows and agentic systems.
• Build fit-for-purpose backend services and APIs.
• Develop robust data ingestion, transformation, and retrieval pipelines.
• Engineer secure, scalable backend with relational data models.
• Define evaluation criteria, monitor quality, latency, and cost.
• Ensure security, governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Own production readiness, rollout, and knowledge transfer.
