Job summary

SAP Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. seeks a Senior AI Developer to lead AI-enabled product initiatives within a global team. You will own backlog and roadmap, collaborate with engineers, product managers, and customers to deliver high-quality AI features across multi-tenant cloud platforms.

You will drive architecture decisions, oversee data pipelines and integration efforts, and thrive in a fast-paced, time-zone diverse environment while continually learning new topics and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Knowledge in Java/Springboot and microservice-based design/architecture.
• At least 2 years of product management experience.
• Experience with SAP BTP; AI project management experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence at all levels.
• Team-oriented and collaborative mindset in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own, create, prioritise and maintain the backlog, while shaping the roadmap with Area Product Owner, engineering, and Product Manager.
• Act as a hands-on technical product owner driving roadmap, priority coordination, product definition, implementation, and delivery lifecycle.
• Explore, understand, and implement latest technologies for cloud platform and data pipelines.
• Make decisions about in-house developments, purchases, or partnerships at product level.
• Handle multi-tenant and multi micro-services environments.
• Ensure product delivery and high-quality specifications per customer requirements to gain competitive advantage.
• Coordinate feedback from customers and stakeholders and integrate into product plans.
• Maintain product up to handover and drive efficiency and process improvements.
• Work with global teams across time zones; adapt quickly to new topics and tasks.
