Job summary

SPD Singapore seeks an experienced leader to plan, develop, and review DAC and SW services and operations, driving post-18 PWD adult service initiatives and co-leading SPD initiatives to meet client and caregiver needs.

The role requires managing and delivering programmes with a focus on outcomes, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and curriculum development for adult services.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in health science from a good University.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in managing and leading programmes for persons with disabilities.
• Excellent management, leadership and communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• In operations, drive outreach activities to enrol persons with disabilities (PwDs) and caregivers.
• Lead and guide a multidisciplinary team including social workers, therapists, support and administrative staff.
• Work with various government as well as community-based organisations as needed.
• Monitor service delivery of programmes.
• Responsible for achieving key performance indicators, providing progress reports and assisting in data analysis for planning and reporting purposes.
• Drive service development & sustainability (prepare and oversee budget).
• Lead in Key Stakeholder Engagement. Network and connect with internal and external stakeholder and funders to improve programme and client outcomes.
• Guide DAC and SW programming including any learning curriculum and materials required.

The Head plans, develops and reviews the services and operations of the DAC and SW. He / she also drives the post-18 PWD adult service continuum, and co-lead or develop initiatives within the adult service landscape or for SPD, to meet emerging needs of the clients and caregivers.
