Job summary

Pepperl+Fuchs Group is seeking a Technical Specialist to ensure the readiness and availability of equipment, processes and materials across Manufacturing Orders within a Total Production Unit. You will drive setup, changeovers and buy-off to meet documented quality standards.

collaborating with Production, M+S, QM, IE and FM teams, and maintaining 5S and safety protocols; SMT/PCBA exposure is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and supporting manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Hands-on experience in machine setup, changeovers & 1st-piece verification/buy-off.
• Experience in SMT (surface mount technology) or PCBA environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Confirming / verifying availability of equipment and processes.
• Communicating with Production, M+S, QM, IE, FM on readiness as needed.
• Performing equipment and process setup, change-over and correction per documentation and procedure.
• Performing buy-off / 1st piece verification to confirm readiness to meet quality requirements.
• Reporting and escalating issues related to equipment, processes and material to relevant teams.
• Maintaining 5S and safety compliance for equipment.
• Supervising production technology processes and line readiness checks.
