Job summary

Pepperl+Fuchs in Singapore is seeking a Production Specialist to join our manufacturing team. You will contribute to assembling, testing, and packaging with emphasis on quality, safety, and on-time delivery. The role offers hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing and a collaborative work culture.

You will follow production instructions, maintain 5S housekeeping, and support line balancing and process improvements while learning new skills and growing with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a NITEC in Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Experience in Electronics industry is an added advantage.
• Prepared to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Experience in assembly, machine handling or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out activities (e.g: operating machine, soldering, testing, packing, gluing, etc) based on a daily production schedule as assigned by the Superior.
• Follow and adhere to production document and process/work instruction during operation and stop and escape if any non conformance/issue (e.g: on product/raw material quality issues, fixture problem, and test rejects encountered).
• Record of the production data (clocking time, defects/rejects, etc).
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment/process operation.
• Identify and promptly report hazards to Supervisor immediately.
• Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized by 5S house-keeping.
• Work with the respective parties to resolve technical issues and improve production processes.
• Work on 1st level technical issue(s) and sustaining production processes when needed.
• Involve in line balancing activities within work cells/ Self-organizing.
