Job summary

LUMINA ADVISORY & GLOBAL SEARCH PTE. LTD. seeks a hands-on Assistant HR Manager to lead day-to-day HR for Singapore and support Malaysia, driving recruitment, payroll, employee relations and HR operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years HR experience in SME environments, supervise a small HR team, and balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution while ensuring compliance with Singapore MOM requirements. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience in SME, fast-growing or multi-functional environment.
• Hands-on HR generalist with payroll, employee relations, HR operations and payroll experience.
• Experience supervising or leading a small HR team.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment practices, MOM requirements, payroll administration and CPF.
• Experience supporting Malaysia HR operations or familiarity with Malaysian practices is advantageous.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Excel; Mandarin ability for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for Singapore and support Malaysia requirements, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Manage day-to-day HR operations and act as the main HR contact for management and staff.
• Oversee payroll for Singapore, including CPF, benefits and deductions; coordinate Malaysia payroll inputs.
• Advise on HR policies, handle employee relations, and coordinate performance appraisals and training.
• Coach and develop a small HR team; streamline HR workflows and data accuracy.
