Job summary

The Garcha Group, in partnership with Marriott International, is seeking an energetic F&B associate in Singapore to deliver exceptional guest service across all outlets, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, lounge, bar, and events.

You will uphold brand standards, maintain ambience, complete Marriott L&D programs, and liaise with culinary teams to ensure seamless operations. English proficiency and 1–2 years in hospitality are preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification, with a valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 certification.
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Personally ensure guests receive exceptional food and beverage service across all outlets (breakfast, lunch, dinner, lounge, bar, events).
• Maintain ambiance, brand standards, lighting, music, presentation, grooming, uniforms and service attitudes across outlets.
• Attend Marriott Learning & Development training programs for professional growth.
• Collaborate with culinary team for seamless service operations and timely communication.
• Engage with guests in a courteous manner to enhance satisfaction and relationships.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and food hygiene per Singapore regulations and Marriott standards.
• Oversee inventory, stock control, and routine reporting to support cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Personally, and regularly ensure that guests receive exceptional food and beverage service across all outlets, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, executive lounge, bar, and events.
• Ensure all F&B outlets maintain the appropriate ambiance and brand standards, including lighting, music, presentation, employee grooming, uniforms, and service attitudes.
• Attend and complete all required Marriott Learning & Development (L&D) and Lobster Ink training programs to support continuous professional development.
• Maintain effective and professional communication with the culinary team to ensure seamless service operations.
• Engage with guests in a professional, courteous, and positive manner to enhance guest satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and food hygiene in accordance with Singapore regulatory requirements and Marriott brand standards.
• Monitor the quality, presentation, and portion consistency of all food and beverage items served.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and routine reporting to ensure operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Other Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification in any field, along with a valid Singapore WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 Certification.
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Required skills: Hotel Guest Service Experience, Diligent, Trustworthy, Articulate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
