Job summary

The Garcha Group in Singapore is seeking an enthusiastic F&B professional to join our team across multiple outlets, ensuring guests receive exceptional service from breakfast through dinner, in the executive lounge, bar, and events.

You will maintain brand standards, work with the Culinary team, and uphold sanitation and food hygiene, while delivering warm, professional service and building lasting guest relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant hospitality experience.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Regularly monitor and ensure guests receive exceptional food and beverage service across all outlets (breakfast, lunch, dinner, executive lounge, bar, events).
• Maintain ambience and brand standards (lighting, music, presentation, grooming, uniforms, service attitude).
• Attend Marriott L&D and Lobster Ink training for ongoing development.
• Coordinate with Culinary team for seamless service operations.
• Engage with guests professionally to enhance satisfaction and build relationships.
• Uphold sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene per Singapore regulations and Marriott standards.
• Monitor quality, presentation and portion consistency of all F&B items.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control and routine reporting.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Regularly monitor and ensure that guests receive exceptional food and beverage service across all outlets, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, executive lounge, bar, and events.
• Ensure all F&B outlets maintain the appropriate ambiance and brand standards, including lighting, music, presentation, employee grooming, uniforms, and service attitudes.
• Attend and complete all required Marriott Learning & Development (L&D) and Lobster Ink training programs to support continuous professional development.
• Maintain effective and professional communication with the Culinary team to ensure seamless service operations.
• Engage with guests in a professional, courteous, and positive manner to enhance guest satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and food hygiene in accordance with Singapore regulatory requirements and Marriott brand standards.
• Monitor the quality, presentation, and portion consistency of all food and beverage items served.
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and routine reporting to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Other Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification in any field, along with a valid Singapore WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 Certification.
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Required skills: Hotel Guest Service Experience, Diligent, Trustworthy, Articulate with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
