Job summary

Keong Saik Bakery in Singapore is seeking a friendly cafe team member to welcome guests, share product knowledge, and ensure smooth daily operations at Chip Bee Gardens (Holland Village). You will collaborate with the team to maintain presentation and service standards, from opening stock checks to engaging customers with a smile.

The role covers coffee and tea preparation, food handling, up-selling promotional items, keeping the cafe clean, and supporting general duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer, treat them as your guest, and serve with a smile, and build rapport.
• Provide product knowledge to introduce items to customers.
• Keep bread and cake displays fully stocked at opening and during hours; update stock levels on POS.
• Perform barista duties: calibrate coffee and maintain standards; brew preordered beverages.
• Suggestive selling and promote promotional items to every guest.
• Handle food preparation such as heating pastries, packing takeaway orders, and making sandwiches.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe, including displays, chairs, tables, and surfaces.
• Wash dishes.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Wash toilets.
• Perform other duties as required by the Company.
