BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a guest service professional to provide courteous and efficient service to residents, handle inquiries, and perform cashiering duties in a dynamic hotel-like environment.

The role requires a rotating shift schedule with early, mid, and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays, and a focus on upselling room categories to maximise revenue while maintaining high service standards.

Aufgaben

• Work closely with the Assistant Manager to deliver exceptional guest service, responding to guest complaints, requests, and inquiries promptly, professionally, and tactfully.
• Provide courteous and efficient service, making every effort to accommodate guests’ requests. Ensure all incoming telephone calls are answered promptly within three rings.
• Perform cashiering duties accurately and in accordance with the residence’s Standard Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with in-house guests at all times by demonstrating a friendly, courteous, and hospitable attitude.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of room types, room rates, and availability. Identify opportunities to upsell room categories and services to enhance the guest experience while maximising room revenue.
• Take ownership of guest concerns and resolve complaints promptly in accordance with established procedures. Escalate issues to the supervisor for further follow-up when necessary and submit glitch reports as required.
• Ensure compliance with guest room security, emergency, and fire safety procedures. Encourage guests to utilise the El-Safe deposit boxes while adhering to the relevant policies and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, functions, major city attractions, and local events to provide accurate and helpful information to guests. Foster professional working relationships and effective communication with all hotel personnel.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and an organised, tidy work area, consistently upholding the highest standards of personal grooming and presentation.
