Job summary

Jumbo Group of Restaurants in Singapore is seeking a friendly Front of House Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests and ensure an exceptional dining experience.

You will greet customers, present menus, upsell items, handle enquiries, coordinate events, and respond promptly to feedback. Training a Leading Hostess and maintaining professional grooming standards are important aspects of the role.

Candidates should project a polished image and support the manager with day-to-day service operations.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets customers
• Ensure good personal grooming standards and portray professional image to the customers
• Build rapport with customers and manage their needs and expectations
• Attend to customer’s enquiries, propose menu, prepare quotation and coordinate events
• Upsell menu items to customers professionally
• Engage and provide excellent customer service to ensure pleasant dining experience
• Handle complaints in a timely manner and manage first level of service recovery
• Train Leading Hostess to provide exceptional service to customers
• Any other ad-hoc jobs or duties assigned by the Manager from time to time
