Job summary

Marina Bay Sands invites a motivated Concierge Intern to support guest services and ticketing operations. You will register guests in OPERA, record and update folios, and process concierge requests while coordinating with Front Office, Guest Services, Transportation and other departments.

Ideal candidates are full-time matriculated students pursuing a Diploma in Hospitality Operations; internship must contribute to graduation.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest relations and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Japanese/Putonghua/Korean is a plus.
• Full-time matriculated student with a Diploma in Hospitality Operations; internship must contribute to graduation.

Responsibilities

• Register guest in the Property Management System (OPERA).
• Record and update guest data into folio as needed.
• Handle guest inquiries on tourist information and local community.
• Process Concierge and Ticketing related requests.
• Operate FCS system, OPERA, and ALICE Concierge to assist guest requests.
• Be conversant with manual operations during PM system shutdown.
• Monitor lobby activities and report suspicious items or activities to Security.
• Maintain liaison with all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Be familiar with local community and major events in town.
• Provide recommendations to enhance stay in MBS and Singapore.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines.
• Adhere to benchmarking standards.
• Support Guest Services desk operations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
