Job summary

Singapore Discovery Centre is looking for a Guest Experience Ambassador to welcome visitors and provide engaging narrations across exhibits, attractions and activities. This 2-year renewable/convertible contract role reports to the Executive for Guest Experience.

You will handle ticketing, memberships, retail, tours, and safety, with opportunities for guided tours of galleries and travelling exhibitions. Fresh graduates with a Tourism background are welcome to apply and join a dynamic,

Qualifications

ITE or Diploma in Tourism; fresh graduates may apply.
Proactive, hands-on approach in a dynamic environment.
Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Comfortable speaking to audiences of varying sizes.
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Represent DCS by creating exceptional experiences for guests.
Build rapport with visitors and manage their needs during visits.
Deliver informative narrations on exhibits, attractions, and activities.
Operate across stations including ticketing, memberships, retail, exhibitions, and theatre.
Facilitate fun indoor/outdoor guest activities and assist with safety as needed.
Handle inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally.
Conduct routine checks to maintain exhibits, facilities and equipment.
