Job summary

KVRS SUPERMART PTE. LTD. is looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth across our grocery and food grains categories in Singapore. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate procurement, stock management, and staff development to ensure smooth shop performance.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, inventory optimization, and handling customer communications by phone and email. The role requires leadership and hands-on training of team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business development and sales in retail.
• Knowledge of food grains, spices and groceries is preferred.
• Ability to manage procurement, inventory and supplier relations.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for the business development operations.
• Managing and supervising day-to-day operations of the entire business operations.
• Oversee receiving, storage and dispatch of goods; monitor stock movements.
• Develop long-term business plans; budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure stock availability and avoid stock overflow; maintain optimum inventory.
• Hire, train and evaluate employees; respond to customer communications.
• Plan capacity, procurement and storage space; organize staff recruitment and training.
• In emergencies, load/unload goods (25 kg, 50 kg bags); coordinate with accounts.
• Report to senior manager and director; work 6 days a week (10:00–22:00).
