Job summary

SY Foodstuffs and Trading PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive in Singapore to drive traditional trade expansion and automated retail growth. You will split time between expanding wholesale distribution and scouting prime locations for vending machines.

You will engage minimarts, canteens, and small grocers, secure opening orders, and manage ongoing deliveries while negotiating leases and coordinating deployments with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hardcore field sales experience in Singapore.
• Experience in FMCG distribution, food supply chains or vending space is valued.
• Comfortable engaging shop owners and pitching to landlords or administrators.

Responsibilities

• Actively cold-call, door-knock, and pitch to independent minimarts, coffeeshop operators, and small-format grocers.
• Secure opening orders and establish recurring delivery schedules for core product lines.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure product placement, manage stock rotations, and resolve credit/payment queries.
• Identify high-yield vending locations and negotiate favorable lease terms; coordinate deployments with logistics.
