Job summary

ECON VEGETABLES & FRUITS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a capable Fruit & Vegetable Retail Shop Manager to oversee daily outlet operations, sales, inventory, purchasing, and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant retail management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in supermarket, grocery store, or fresh produce outlets preferred.
• Knowledge of fresh produce quality, storage, handling, and stock rotation.
• Experience in inventory management and supplier coordination.
• Experience supervising retail staff.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently and make day-to-day operational decisions.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Retail Operations Management: oversee daily operations, ensure stock, cleanliness, and procedures are followed.
• Inventory & Fresh Produce Management: monitor stock levels, check freshness, minimise spoilage.
• Purchasing & Supplier Management: coordinate with local suppliers, place orders, track delivery.
• Sales & Customer Service: monitor sales, implement promotions, handle customer inquiries.
• Staff Management: supervise staff, schedule duties, train on service and hygiene.
• Cash & Administrative Management: manage cash/payments, record sales, prepare reports.
• Food Hygiene & Workplace Safety: ensure proper handling, hygiene, and safety standards.
