FIGGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Retail Operations Manager to own daily store operations, lead a small team, manage stock and coordinate with suppliers.

This practical, customer-facing role includes receiving deliveries, reviewing performance and maintaining high standards on the shop floor. You will monitor key metrics, ensure food safety and hygiene, and support new product launches and promotions as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising retail, grocery, deli or hospitality operations.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to lead small teams.
• Commercial awareness including margins, stock management and waste control.
• Genuine enthusiasm for food, produce and independent brands.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with willingness to work on shop floor.
• Clear communication; comfortable with POS, basic reporting and simple data.
• Knowledge of Singapore food retail and food-safety practices is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily store operations, opening/closing, service standards and presentation.
• Recruit, train, roster and motivate staff; foster a positive team culture.
• Manage stock ordering, receiving, rotation, replenishment and accuracy.
• Coordinate with local and overseas suppliers; track deliveries and availability.
• Monitor sales, margins, labour costs, wastage, and key store metrics.
• Maintain fresh produce, deli merchandising and food safety standards.
• Ensure hygiene, temperature controls and compliance with Singapore Food Agency rules.
• Resolve customer issues and build relationships with regular shoppers.
• Help establish and improve operating procedures as the business grows.
• Support product launches, seasonal ranges, promotions and future development.
