Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. at Changi Airport seeks an Operations Coordinator to support baggage handling, coordinate with Baggage Coordinator and engineers, and ensure smooth shift handovers in a busy airport environment.

The role requires analytical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to work under time pressure. It is a 1-year renewable contract with day and night shifts and coverage for two rest days.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations environment or similar field.
• Strong analytical and decision-making under time pressure.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with airline/airport baggage operations is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Baggage Coordinator and Engineering Baggage Control Room Supervisors for start-of-shift focus at the BHA.
• Ensure daily manning levels of the GHA for arrival, departure, and transfer handling.
• Prepare and send reports/SitReps to the Baggage Coordinator.
• Keep the BHA clean and tidy with FM External and other stakeholders.
• Report facility issues to FMC as needed.
• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders and Airside Support Officers.
• Maintain close coordination with all BHA stakeholders.

Job description

- Day Shift (830am-830pm), followed by Night Shift (830pm-830am) and rest 2 days

- Location: Changi Airport

- Contract: 1 year (renewable)

- Salary: UP to $2,850

Job Scope

• Coordinate with the Baggage Coordinator (BC) and Engineering Baggage Control Room Supervisors for any areas to focus on during start of shift at the BHA.


• Ensure daily manning levels of the GHA for arrival, departure, and transfer handling are sufficient.


• Prepare and send various reports/SitReps to the Baggage Coordinator to collate and report.


• Ensure the BHA is always kept clean and tidy by working with FM External and other stakeholders.


• Report to FMC for any issues with the facilities and cleaning.


• Facilitate Joint Inspections with stakeholders together with Airside Support Officers or higher.


• Close coordination with all stakeholders in the BHA.

Requirements

• Experience in an operations environment and strong analytical skills.
